Kaziranga: In a formidable technological upgrade for wildlife preservation, Assam’s UNESCO World Heritage Kaziranga National Park has commissioned an end-to-end AI-powered electronic surveillance grid. The system combines high-resolution thermal imaging, acoustic tripwires, and automated night-vision drones.

According to the park directorate, the automated algorithm differentiates between animal movement and illegal human trespassers, instantly transmitting real-time coordinate alerts to rapid response patrol teams.
